Our athletic program at Pacific Baptist School seeks to provide an avenue for our students to harness school spirit, teamwork, and Christian sportsmanship. We encourage all our students at PBS to participate in our athletic program. Our athletic program continues to carry out the goals of our school through athletic competition. Many of our athletes have gone on to be outstanding citizens within our community and around the world. We have former athletes that our Pastors, Preachers, Missionaries, Teachers, Principals, Police Officers, Nurses, Business Owners, and Entrepreneurs. We strive to use athletics to teach life lessons to better prepare our students for the “real world.”

Since its inception in 2012, the Pacific Baptist School flag football program has proudly competed in the California Baptist Athletic League (CBAL), providing an outstanding opportunity for young men to develop athletically, spiritually, and as leaders. During that time, the Patriots have captured five CBAL Championships and one SoCal Championship, establishing a tradition of excellence. In 2016, the program made school history by traveling to Oregon for Pacific Baptist School's first-ever out-of-state football tournament. Since the program's founding, Joshua Esposito has served as head coach, faithfully leading the Patriots on and off the field.

Since its inception in the early 1990s, the Pacific Baptist School basketball program has built a tradition of excellence both on and off the court. Our teams have competed in tournaments throughout California and across the country, including Washington, New Mexico, North Carolina, Kentucky, Nevada, and Indiana, providing student-athletes with valuable competitive experiences. Both our JV and Varsity teams compete in the California Baptist Athletic League (CBAL) while also playing a challenging non-league schedule each season. Over the past 12 years, our Varsity team has captured six CBAL League Championships, continuing the program's tradition of success. The program is led by Head Coach Timothy Esposito, who brings more than 20 years of coaching experience and is committed to developing players in skill, character, discipline, and Christlike leadership. The Pacific Baptist School boys' volleyball program is a growing program with a rich history of success. After officially completing only its second season, the team reached the 2026 California Baptist Athletic League (CBAL) Boys Volleyball Championship, continuing the momentum of a program that previously won the PBAL Championship in 2000 during its only other season of competition. As the program continues to grow, our goal is to develop athletes through competitive excellence, teamwork, discipline, and Christlike character.
