As a materialistic Courtney is asked by her close friend Jenny to help in her small church’s Christmas program, Courtney thinks, then flippantly tells her of her inability to act in the play because of very important “stuff” she has to do—like shopping and wrapping presents! Soon after, Courtney finds that Jenny was in a car accident because of the sorrow of rejection from her close friend. Courtney ignores the tugging of the Holy Spirit through her mother.
Tired from shopping, she decides to take a short nap, and in dreaming she is mysteriously taken on a journey that can drastically change her life forever—only if she allows it! Things don’t look good for Courtney’s Christmas or her eternal destiny. We can only hope and pray that the Lord through her mother, Mr. Whittaker, the nativity, the dedication of the persecuted church, and a few poor orphans can change her heart towards the true meaning of Christmas. Please watch with an open heart as Pacific Baptist School presents “A Time for Christmas.”
